Benicia Ballet Theatre offers both a Summer Dance Workshop and Twilight Camp
Summer Dance Workshop
As part of its Outreach Program, Benicia Ballet Theatre offers a yearly three-week Summer Dance Workshop and Production.
It's not just ballet! BBT's summer programs explore all dance styles with a focus on proper technique and dancer health, including anatomy and nutrition. Participants also explore topics such as dance history, art history, stage management, costume design and music as well.
The workshop will be offered from July 15 through August 2 for dancers aged 8 and older. Dancers can enroll in 1, 2, or 3 weeks. If dancers want to participate in the performance, enrollment in 2 weeks is required. The performance will be held on Saturday, August 3.
The camp will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Dancers need to bring their own lunches. The Workshop will be held at Benicia Ballet, 390 Military E, Benicia.
The performance will be free to families and community members.
Registration for our summer camps will be taken until classes are full. The cost is $225.00 per week.
Summer Twilight Camp
Benicia Ballet Theatre is offering its annual two-week Twilight Camp for dancers aged 4 to 7 years old. Dancers will have an opportunity to explore difference dance styles and will be able to participate in a final free community performance.
The camp will be offered from July 22 through August 2 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday at Benicia Ballet, 390 Military E, Benicia. The final performance will be on Saturday, August 3.
Enrollment in both weeks is required for dancers that want to participate in the performance.
Registration for our summer camps will be taken until classes are full. Cost is $200.00 for both weeks and $100 for a single week.
